BOLTgroup Will Host The Designers Accord “Town Hall”
The Designers Accord is a global coalition of designers, educators, researchers, engineers, and corporate leaders, working together to create positive environmental and social impact. The Designers Accord is made up of over 170,000 members of the creative community, representing 100 countries, and each design discipline.
BOLTgroup was an early adopter of the Designers Accord (DA) and will host the southeastern version of the Designers Accord “Town Hall” at their offices in Charlotte on Thursday, August 27, from 6-9 pm.
The previous DA Town Halls occurred at Smart Design in NYC, Continuum in Boston, Lunar in San Francisco, and Bressler in Philadelphia. The Town Hall is an opportunity for local designers and firms to share the sustainability strategies and techniques used in their practices, to seek help with related challenges, and to network around these issues. The Town Hall will start with thirty minutes of meet and great, followed by planned presentations from some leading practitioners, and ending with an hour of open discussion. The format will be informal with an emphasis on open sharing of knowledge and best practices.
The BOLTgroup Town Hall is free. All designers and interested parties are welcome to attend; however, seating is limited so please RSVP early.
